Responsibilities

Developing predictive models on large-scale datasets to address various business problems through demonstrating advanced statistical modeling, machine learning, or data mining techniques using Python, Azure, Vertex AI, AutoML, Vertex AI Notebooks, Document AI, BigQuery ML

Evaluating the performance of predictive models and algorithms using appropriate metrics and validation techniques, and iterate on model improvements

Building and maintaining data pipelines optimized for machine learning applications

Providing guidance on technology choices and design considerations for AI/ML programs

Collaborating with stakeholders on requirements, training end users, and sharing knowledge to contribute to team capabilities

Designing fit-for-purpose products aligned with customer's strategic plans and technology roadmaps

Participating in technical group discussions, adopting new technologies, and assisting team members with production issues

Required

Proficiency with Python and data science libraries (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, Scikit-Learn, etc.)

Experience producing meaningful visualizations/dashboards/presentations to business stakeholders

Experience solving 'full stack' machine learning problems, from data collection to model training to deployment, and experience using machine learning.

Understanding and exposure to the different levels of the data science cycle (definition, collection, preparation, extraction, analysis, modeling, and deployment)

Experience with Object Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts & scalable software design principles

Experience working with SQL/MySQL

Experience working with GCP AI and ML Products such as: Vertex AI, AutoML, Vertex AI Notebooks, Document AI, BigQuery ML

Ability to multitask and to balance competing priorities.

Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, including a desire to work within a highly-matrixed, team-oriented environment.
