Responsibilities
Enforces the school board policies concerning student discipline.
Supervises student activities, assemblies and extracurricular activities.
Counsels with students and, as required, with parents regarding achievement, growth, discipline, extracurricular activities, and other matters believed to be related to the success of the students.
Works with principal in the evaluation of staff.
Represents the school at community functions.
Works with other school personnel to develop a schedule and in scheduling students for classes.
Assists principal with preparation of local, state, and federal reports.
Assists with preparation of materials for teachers.
Performs other duties as may be assigned by the principal.

Required
Enrolled in an approved program that leads to an L certificate
Must have completed 10 hours of graduate credit
Must complete 10 hours per year, thereafter, for contract renewal
Minimum of three years of acceptable teaching experience
Ability to work with people
Knowledge of good instructional program
Possession of good communication skills
Consistent in relationship with teachers and pupils
