Responsibilities

Assist higher level auditor/lead on field work including special audits and targeted audits as requested by internal management.

Participate in pre and post implementation audits of providers, claims processing, benefit coding, member and provider inquiries, enrollment & billing transactions, and corrective action plan process.

Analyze and interpret data, make recommendations for change, apply audit policy, and assess risks to minimize exposure and mitigate those risks.

Document audit results, findings, and suggest appropriate remediation.

Required

BS/BA

2+ years related experience in an enrollment and billing, claims and/or customer contact automated environment (preferably in healthcare or insurance sector)

Ability to analyze and interpret data

Ability to make recommendations for change based on judgment and experience

Documentation skills for audit results and findings

Ability to suggest appropriate remediation

Preferred

Bilingual in Spanish
