Responsibilities
Coordinates all phases of construction projects including scheduling, planning, design, construction, and regulatory interactions.
Assists in developing preliminary construction project budgets and detailed cost bid packages.
Evaluates and administers contract documents to outside construction contractors.
Orders furniture, equipment, and materials for construction projects.
Develops work plans and project schedules using project management software.
Monitors project-related work of team members and outside contractors.
Conducts and documents pre-construction, progress, move, and post-construction meetings.
Coordinates record-keeping of all documents and regulatory submittals for each project.
Acts as a liaison between team members, clients, and external stakeholders.
Represents Corewell Health internally and externally for construction projects.
Maintains knowledge of current trends, developments, and regulatory codes in the field.
Demonstrates knowledge of hospital safety and infection control policies and procedures.
Establishes and maintains effective working relationships within the organization.
Ensures quality and safety outcomes in projects.
Promotes Corewell Health's mission of Superior Quality Personal Care.
Requests and coordinates regulatory agency inspections for occupancy approval.

Required
Bachelor's Degree Design, Engineering, Construction Management, related field or equivalent education and experience
2 years of relevant experience or more years of construction project management experience
LIC-Driver's License - STATE_MI State of Michigan required
Preferred
Health care construction experience
