Responsibilities

Lead and manage a multidisciplinary engineering team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers and technical staff. Develop and implement engineering strategies, goals, and objectives aligned with company goals.

Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of engineering projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality assurance, and supply chain, to ensure project success.

Manage project risks and develop mitigation plans.

Ensure the application of best engineering practices and compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Drive innovation and continuous improvement in engineering processes and products.

Review and approve engineering designs, specifications, and technical documentation.

Collaborate with customers, government agencies, and defense contractors to understand requirements and ensure product specifications meet or exceed expectations.

Present technical information and project updates to senior management and external stakeholders.

Manage engineering budgets, resources, and equipment.
