Responsibilities
Serve as a link between customer service and the sales team to help resolve order issues.
Establish and maintain good relationships with assigned accounts.
Prepares weekly action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made.
Identifies sales prospects and contacts these and other accounts as assigned.
Presents and sells company products and services to current and potential clients via phone.
Improve customer experience by proactively communicating order status with customers.
Run pending approval report daily to manage open orders and assist in decreasing turnaround time.
Run backorder report daily and notify customers of potential product issues and orders that exceed expected ship date.
Provide substitute options to customers to lower turnaround time and increase customer experience.
Provide internal support and single point of contact for all outside sales reps in the assigned territory.
Manage all incoming phone calls and assist customers with all inquiries. Transfer customer to the appropriate party when necessary.
Manage email inquiries in general mailbox responding to customers in a timely manner and forward to the appropriate person when necessary.
Manage item pricing and custom pricing on the customer’s account.
Set-up leads and contacts for your territory in NetSuite when necessary.
Set-up website leads in your territory and manage all website quote requests in your territory.
Manage duplicate detection report for your territory on a quarterly basis.
Manage email bounce back report for your territory on a quarterly basis.
When a price group is assigned, provide price quotes to customers as requested.
Manage sample requests for your territory.

Required
Associate degree in a business-related field
2-5 years’ experience in inside sales or telemarketing selling multiple products
Experience working from a database, from a list of multiple customers and prospects, is mandatory
Ability to examine documents for accuracy and completeness
Skilled in use of computer and software, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, vendors, and customers
Skilled in multi-tasking
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing
