Responsibilities

Design models in DBT for Underdog's reporting layer

Collaborate cross-functionally with Data Scientists, Product Managers, and stakeholders to understand data needs

Develop scalable reporting models using BigQuery and DBT

Create and maintain tests and documentation for reporting layer

Perform data integrity checks and resolve discrepancies

Stay informed about Underdog's data models, processes, and compliance considerations

Assist in developing analytics datasets

Communicate progress and blockers to stakeholders

Document and report issues with source data

Manage tasks using Jira and participate in sprint meetings

Present work at team meetings and suggest continuous improvements in architecture

Collaborate with diverse groups of stakeholders and explain technical concepts

Proactively solve problems and anticipate future challenges
