Responsibilities
Work closely with the sales team to achieve market growth and ensure effective delivery and support of Copperweld’s building wire products.
Build current product awareness and understanding and support new product development.
Represent the company at trade shows, engineering conferences, and marketing events.
Identify training needs and provide guidance to promote product knowledge and effective promotion.
Work with engineering team on product specifications, applications, and contribute towards product refinement.
Prepare and present white papers, application notes and technical articles to reinforce Copperweld as subject matter expert in the power industry.
Serve as an expert advisor on different theoretical topics and case studies at conferences and technical meetings.
Research, measure, and monitor competitor market share to enhance the reception of the company’s product in the market.
Perform other duties as assigned

Required
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Architecture, or Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
5+ years of experience engineering/designing electrical systems within the construction industry
Understanding of IEEE Standards
Experience analyzing drawings and specifications
Self-motivated with strong prioritization and problem-solving skills
Strong analytical capabilities, with a preference for design experience
Capable of leveraging industry expertise and contacts to capture sales and grow the company’s market share
Demonstrated experience interacting with key decision-makers
Ability to effectively communicate and present information to various stakeholders, including customers, prospective clients, trade organizations, contractors/builders, inspectors, team members, team leaders, and top management
Organizational networking capabilities with the ability to share best practices across cross-functional teams, multiple cultures, and regions
