Responsibilities
Assist in the development of project plans, including scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and resources.
Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure project components, particularly roller shades, sound masking systems, and raised flooring, are delivered and installed as planned.
Provide technical support and guidance to project teams during the design and execution phases.
Utilize agile modeling technologies to create and update design models that meet client specifications.
Collaborate with clients and project teams to reconfigure and update designs on-the-fly, ensuring they align with project requirements.
Ensure accurate and detailed modeling for manufacturing and installation purposes.
Perform take offs and prepare accurate estimates for roller shades, sound masking, raised flooring, and other ancillary functions.
Ensure all estimates are detailed and reflect the project’s scope, budget, and timeline.
Conduct quality checks on project deliverables to ensure they meet HB Build’s standards and client expectations.
Assist in the development and implementation of quality control processes.
Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including technical drawings, specifications, and reports.
Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
Identify potential technical risks and assist in developing mitigation strategies.
Monitor and report on project risks and issues, providing solutions to resolve them promptly.
Serve as a technical point of contact for clients, providing updates and addressing technical inquiries.
Conduct site visits and client meetings as needed to ensure project alignment and satisfaction.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a project engineering role within the construction industry, preferably with a focus on interior construction.
Experience with agile modeling technologies and construction project management software.
Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend).
Ability to read and interpret architectural plan sets accurately.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred
Relevant certifications (e.g., EIT, LEED AP) are a plus.
