Responsibilities

Work with senior management, technical and client teams to determine data requirements, business data implementation approaches, best practices for advanced data manipulation, storage and analysis strategies.

Write and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers of database to management system or direct others in coding descriptions.

Design, implement, automate and maintain large scale enterprise data ETL processes.

Modify existing databases and database management systems and/or direct programmers and analysts to make changes.

Test programs or databases, correct errors and make necessary modifications.

Required

Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required.

5-7 years applicable experience required.

Experience with database technologies.

Knowledge of the ETL process.

Knowledge of at least one scripting language.

Strong written and oral communication skills.

Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.

Demonstrated history of success.

Desire to be working with data and helping businesses make better data driven decisions.

Must have experience tagging enterprise sites with digital analytics and media tags (Adobe 1DS, Tealium, Sprinklr) either by using Tag Manager tools or hardcoding.

Must have experience creating and documenting tagging specs, implementing tags, and performing QA to ensure tags are populating as expected.

Must be familiar with writing code to pass into custom variables.

Must be knowledgeable with Privacy, GDPR, and cookie classifications.

Sets up BVTs to ensure tags continue to fire as expected and create threshold alerts.

Consistently monitor data collection to ensure PII info is not being passed in free form text fields or CTAs.

Provides strategic thought leadership and recommendations with respect to tagging optimization and ensuring tags on the site do not violate any cookie and privacy compliance requirements.
