Responsibilities

Creating customer quotations for low volume production and prototype work in various additive technologies.

Managing projects for quoted work through design, production, inspection, and customer acceptance.

Providing design for manufacturability (DFM) feedback to secure additive opportunities.

Interpreting customer drawings and requirements to develop manufacturing process plans.

Reviewing all customer technical requirements and ensuring quotes address them.

Conducting up to 10% domestic travel.

Teaching junior engineers project management skills.

Required

B.S in an engineering or manufacturing discipline or significant relevant experience.

Minimum 3 years of additive manufacturing or design experience preferred.

General understanding of CNC machining, sheet metal, additive technology, and injection molding preferred.

Previous experience quoting nice to have

Engaged in a customer facing role with excellent customer skills.

Proficiency with parametric CAD software, preferably Solidworks and other web-based manufacturing software tools

Proficiency in critical to quality and quality control documentation

Understanding of applicable additive technologies and general manufacturing processes to become a valued partner to our customers and the additive team.

Understanding of shop routings and ability to create them in company ERP system

Ability to manage complex projects and teach junior engineers project management skills.

Excellent customer verbal and written communication skills

Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent problem-solving skills
