Responsibilities

Identifies, diagnoses, and resolves problems for users of corporate computer hardware, peripherals, telephones, printers, and related devices
Serves as the first line of support for end user IT support issues
Provides in person or remote, one-on-one end-user problem resolution, for corporate approved computer software and hardware issues
Delivers, tags, sets up, and assists in the configuration of end-user desktop computer hardware, software, peripherals, and phone equipment
Meticulously manages, tracks, and updates end user computer assets and licensing throughout their product lifecycle by maintaining asset inventory
Enrolls systems into and leverages RMM tooling, to effectively manage the environment
Onboards new employees by preparing necessary accounts, computer hardware, licensing, and setting up office space, followed by delivering IT orientation
Manages and maintains user accounts, group membership, and necessary attributes
Coordinates timely repair of computer equipment covered by third-party vendor maintenance agreements
Performs desktop hardware repair for equipment and peripherals that are not covered by maintenance agreements
Maintains inventory by reviewing on hand computer equipment, parts, peripherals, office phones, and assures that required items are available for new hires and day to day service requests
Helps install local area network cabling and equipment such as network interface cards and switches
Develops content by creating materials for end-user facing frequently asked questions (FAQs)
Great communication and organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize
Eagerness and a desire to learn and support new technologies
As necessary, be available after business hours to address critical issues

Required

3-5 years of experience in supporting Microsoft Windows operating systems
3-5 years of experience in supporting the Microsoft Office 365 productivity suite
3-5 years of experience delivering IT support services using RMM tooling, remote support tools, and helpdesk systems
3-5 years of experience with deploying OS images and maintaining OS images and related driver repositories, familiarity using common image deployment tools
Fundamental understanding of networking including cabling, switches, wireless access, as well as understanding network communication protocols including TCPIP, DHCP, DNS, and related troubleshooting tools and utilities
Familiarity with Powershell scripting for assisting with day to day and other repetitive tasks and task automation
Demonstrated ability to foster security awareness and remain security focused when assessing helpdesk requests and other activities
Excellent prioritization, communication, and organizational skills
Unwavering professionalism and excellent customer services skills
Ability to work efficiently & effectively with general direction and minimal supervision
Excellent troubleshooting skills with ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
Demonstrated attention to detail
Technical Certifications such as A+, Network+ or MCP are a plus
Travel between New Castle, DE and Wilmington, DE sites is required with infrequent travel to Corporate HQ offices in Ewing, NJ
