Responsibilities
Defining, measuring, and analyzing potential new Continuous Improvement projects within manufacturing operations.
Documenting current processes and proposing improved processes. Standardizing processes across various business units, developing Standard Operating Procedures.
Creating Standardized Operating Procedures (Work Instructions) to increase workflow efficiency.
Implementing process management/process improvement initiatives following Lean Six Sigma principles.
Planning, leading, and documenting Lean and Kaizen events.
Mentoring employees as they apply Lean methodology to problem-solving and project execution. Assisting in teaching Lean Six Sigma principles to line staff.
Following and complying with all Environmental Health & Safety policies.
Other duties as assigned.

Required
Entering the junior or senior year of a Bachelor’s degree in Continuous Improvement, Industrial Engineering Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field of study in progress during the summer of 2024.
Desire and willingness to learn and implement Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing procedures and systems.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills. Skilled in problem solving, innovation and team participation.
High level of self-motivation and personal accountability works with a strong sense of urgency.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office for analyzing data and presenting projects.
Some local travel between corporate HQ and manufacturing plants may be required.
Must be open to relocation for future career progression.
