Responsibilities

Verify all finished goods are compliant with internal quality standards

Identify manufacturing deficiencies and determine root causes

Oversee and track corrective action processes

Perform failure testing on defective products & review on-going production data

Proactively identify and initiate opportunities to improve product and packaging performance, reduce cost, increase material utilization, integrate new products/processes into production, and reduce variation.

Implement necessary changes and update all internal documentation.

Collect, review, and present equipment reliability results and performance data to determine optimal equipment set-up to improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE)

Working with the operational teams on providing training, writing appropriate standard operating procedures, as well as maintenance training plans & parts.

Become knowledgeable in Plant operation procedures in order to distinguish areas for development

Research and develop new and experimental processes to encourage innovation

Actively continue personal development/improvement initiatives that align with business objectives and job functions to provide increased contributions.
