Responsibilities
Automate provisioning, modification, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure services using Terraform or GitHub Actions for automated and repeatable deployments.
Automate software deployments for Azure Cloud-based applications and services using Ansible, GitHub Actions, or internal corporate CI/CD tools.
Address security vulnerabilities by modifying infrastructure and deployment automation as needed.
Identify and drive improvements in infrastructure and system reliability, performance, monitoring, and overall stability of applications and platforms.
Deploy and support critical cloud infrastructure, systems, and applications.
Build and maintain tools and automation to eliminate repetitive tasks and prevent incidents.
Create and maintain documentation for infrastructure and software deployments and automation.

Required
Proficiency in developing Terraform playbooks/roles/cookbooks/recipes and modules to create Azure resources.
Experience in setting up, administering, maintaining, and configuring Terraform infrastructure with SME-level support.
5+ years of experience with Azure DevOps, CloudOps, and configuring and provisioning environments with Terraform, IAC tools, Azure PaaS, and Azure Pipelines in highly available and scalable production environments.
Knowledge of various Azure services, including Application Gateway, multiple storage accounts, Event Hubs, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Managed Oracle, Azure Managed Postgres, multiple App Services, Azure Container Registry, Azure Key Vault, Postgres Flexible Servers (RSM and Insights), Splunk/SignalFx integration, NSG rules for external service traffic, Transit-Hub, and Route Server peering.
Expertise in working with PowerShell, Python, Bash scripting, and Terraform.
Experience in IaC development with Terraform, Azure CLI, Puppet, and Ansible.
Proficiency in scripting with Perl, Python, and PowerShell.
Experience in setting up SecDevOps implementations for web applications developed in Spring Boot, Angular/React, Spring Cloud, and .NET applications.
Preferred
5+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure, including design, deployment, configuration, and optimization.
3+ years of experience with IaaS and PaaS solutions.
Experience in designing and operating medium to large-scale enterprise infrastructure, databases, and application systems.
Expertise in developing, configuring, and administering DevOps and IT automation solutions.
Experience working within an Agile framework.
Competence in a wide range of IT skills, including networking, systems administration, data protection, information security, and CI/CD tooling.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with keen attention to detail.
Ability to configure routing in Application Gateway to direct traffic to customer-specific web applications, including TLS offloading and session persistence/affinity.
Experience working with DevOps to install Oracle on Azure Linux VMs.
Proficiency in setting up Insights (Analytics) related ETLs on Azure Data Factory or similar platforms.
