Responsibilities
Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives.
Act as a servant-leader and coach to the Scrum Team, Product Owner, and organization on the use of Agile/Scrum practices and values.
Assist the Scrum Team in identifying and removing impediments to progress, helping to find solutions and enabling the team to deliver high-quality work.
Foster an environment of continuous improvement and team empowerment so that each Sprint is more productive than the last.
Protect the team from outside distractions, ensuring that the team adheres to Scrum processes and timelines.
Work with Product Owners to refine and manage the product backlog, ensuring that the team always has an adequate amount of prior-prepared tasks to work on.
Promote a collaborative team environment that values openness and honesty, and encourages a culture of innovation and experimentation.
Track and communicate team velocity and sprint/release progress to all stakeholders.
Ensure that the team is practicing the core Agile principles of collaboration, prioritization, team accountability, and visibility.

Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Scrum Master certification.
5-10 years of experience as a Scrum Master in a variety of different contexts (team sizes, organizations, cultures, co-located vs. distributed, etc.).
Solid understanding of software development life cycle models as well as knowledge of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
Proven track record of facilitating Agile transformation in a previous organization.
Preferred
Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
Experience with scaled Agile frameworks such as SAFe, LeSS, or DA is a plus.
Knowledge of other Agile approaches: XP, Kanban, Crystal, FDD, etc.
Experience with Agile techniques: User Stories, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing.
Proficient with Agile project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar.
Mastery of Scrum and Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Agile boards.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent software.
Experience with collaborative tools like Slack, Microsoft Teams, or Zoom for effective communication with distributed teams.
Familiarity with repositories and version control systems, such as Git.
