Responsibilities

Help maintain and enhance existing products, define and implement new solutions, assist in troubleshooting customer issues, and collaborate on software designs.

Experience with Emergency Action Message processing systems is desired.

Involved in all phases of the development process including requirements analysis, design, code and unit test, integration and systems test, and design support activities.

Strong interpersonal communication skills, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a small team environment are desired.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field

2+ years of job-related experience or a Master's degree

Agile experience

Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance

U.S. citizenship

Preferred

Experience with Emergency Action Message processing systems

Knowledge of multiple operating systems (e.g., Linux, embedded VxWorks, and Windows)

IT experience in installing and configuring Windows 10, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), and VxWorks operating systems

Strong software development and compilation skills using Ada/C/C++ software language (or other structured programming language)

Experience with X/Motif GUI development

IT experience with license management, renewals, and procurement

Familiarity of design of systems utilizing real-time, distributed microprocessor processing

Experience in RMF control implementation and cybersecurity

Strong interpersonal communication skills, problem-solving skills, and ability to work in a small team environment
