Responsibilities

Contribute to the development and maintenance of software and simulation tools for the GM NASCAR race program.

Utilize internal resources of GM & GM NASCAR Key Partner teams as well as contracted third parties when needed.

Design, implement, test, and maintain software applications throughout the full lifecycle of development.

Write efficient, reusable, and reliable code.

Work closely with teams to perform software architecture assessments and prepare technical documentation.

Work from both home and office, living within a reasonable commuting distance of the office address.

No travel required for this position.

Required

Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field

Two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related software engineering position

Two (2) years of professional software development experience for both front end and back end environments

Two (2) years of experience developing applications in C#, .NET, Angular, Javascript, HTML, and CSS

Experience with object-oriented programming and current best coding practices

Experience consuming and implementing REST APIs (ASP.NET Web APIs)

Experience with Unit Tests (NUnit, xUnit)

Experience with SQL databases (SQL Server)

Experience using Git for version control, DevOps (ideal Azure Dev Ops) and CI/CD practices for agile environments
