Responsibilities
Prepares and sets-up programs for all NC/CNC machines utilizing the CAD network.
Reviews CAD files and/or drawings to assure proper part production and correct program operation.
Maintains accurate files of all programs and set-up information.
Monitors machine set-ups for uniformity and efficiency.
Prepares programs for use on primary and secondary machines to maintain maximum efficiency.
Supports manufacturing efforts by providing necessary assistance and advising on tool selection.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Required
High School Graduate or equivalent.
Knowledge of advanced machine shop practices, processes, and mechanics.
Knowledge of the operations of metal working machines, including the understanding of set-ups and tool life.
Ability to read and interpret component blueprints and drawings.
Skilled in mathematics. (Trigonometry, plane geometry and algebra)
Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and its application necessary to meet production requirements.
Research and Development skills
Ability to utilize sound techniques to complete assignments on time
Quality communication skills for relating to people on all levels and to deal with service providers
Ability to make decisions independently, based on overall objectives established by the Manufacturing Engineering Manager
Knowledge of the MS Office Suite
Knowledge of OEE Studio software
