The role involves working closely with the Design Engineering team and assisting in the design and development of microwave components while utilizing advanced manufacturing technology.

Responsibilities

Assist Project and Principal RF Engineers in the design and development of microwave components, including connectors, attenuators, terminations, and switches

Utilize HFSS FEA software to provide RF simulations of RF products

Use of state of the art test equipment, including network and spectrum analyzers

Apply RF design concepts to design high performance transmission lines

Support the Design Engineering team during the NPI process to validate and optimize RF performance

Facilitate and document electrical testing of prototypes in a lab environment

Interact with quality, engineering, and program management groups in executing and refining product development plans

Provide testing support for production when needed

Perform research in order to help develop new products

Ability to travel minimally when necessary

Any other duties as assigned
