Responsibilities
Perform routine assignments
Have an understanding of fundamental theories, principles, and concepts
Perform structured work assignments
Use existing procedures to solve routine or standard problems
Receive instruction, guidance, and direction from more senior level professionals
Aid in conceptual and final design drawings and specification packages for municipal, agricultural, and other water agencies
Aid utility research and field investigations
Aid in alternatives analyses and route studies to define work in preliminary phases
Aid hydraulic and design calculations to support design development
Aid in writing technical memorandums and basis of design reports to convey design criteria, alternatives analyses, and concepts to clients and stakeholders
Aid in reviewing construction documents and services during construction
Aid in contributing to client communications, presentations, and deliverables
Develop and maintain mentor and mentee relationships with staff within the conveyance design team

Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Agricultural Engineering, or equivalent
2+ years of experience having exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts on a variety of projects including conveyance pipeline design and/or water/wastewater pump station design
Comfortable working both collaboratively and independently
Preferred
CA Professional Engineer license
