Responsibilities

Create, prepare, and maintain databases and tables for reports and analysis.

Design and build actionable dashboards.

Plan and develop dashboard projects from data preparation to development.

Interpret results and provide data-driven marketing recommendations.

Build and maintain dashboards to support analysis and reporting.

Develop customized SQL queries for reporting structures.

Optimize database architecture and data pipelines.

Validate data for reporting accuracy and completeness.

Analyze marketing performance through dashboards and ad hoc analysis.

Manage multiple client requests for accurate and timely deliverables.

Required

Advanced SQL knowledge

Deep experience with business intelligence and visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, Quicksight, Qlik, Datorama, Domo and/or Looker

Working with Google Cloud cloud-based data solutions

Working with a leading analytics or relational database system, such as Redshift, Vertica, BigQuery, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, or MySQL

Developing and implementing data transformation via ETL processes and data pipelines

Understanding of marketing analytics or CRM analytics

Excellent interpersonal, communication, listening and presentation skills

The ability to work both as a team and independently

Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Marketing, or a related discipline

Preferred

Working with enterprise ETL software such as Databricks, Alteryx, Tableau Prep

Working knowledge in at least one of the following scripting languages: Python or R

Working in big data solutions such as Hadoop, Hive, Spark

Experience using MailChimp or other CRM platforms

Using change release processes and tools such as Git

Working with clickstream web analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, or working knowledge of the field of web analytics

Knowledge of commonly-used digital metrics, analytic concepts, and online

Hybrid in the Kansas City area is preferred. Open to remote in other US cities

Interview process: (1) introductory call, (2) take-home assessment, and (3) interview with the hiring manager

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future
