Responsibilities
Collaborate with colleagues to advance EV Connect's cloud SaaS platform, mobile applications, and integrations.
Maintain system health, performance, and capacity, including monitoring, system statistics, and error handling.
Create automated network and system deployments on AWS cloud.
Establish CI/CD pipelines and manage application configuration across platforms.
Develop monitoring tools, ensure security best practices, and automate responses to service conditions.
Work closely with development teams to ensure operability of platforms.
Handle high-impact incidents and document all actions.

Required
8+ years' experience as a Senior DevOps Engineer
Experience with AWS Cloud
Experience architecting resilient and scalable solutions in AWS Cloud
Experience with incident, problem, and change management practices
Experience with designing, building, and managing release systems, code merging, and CI/CD workflows
Experience with container architecture, Docker, and Kubernetes
Experience with Java/Spring/Spring Boot
Experience with event-driven microservices and distributed architectures
Experience with SQL & NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Elasticsearch, DynamoDB, mySQL, PostgreSQL
Experience with Linux-based infrastructures
Experience with obtaining and installing SSL certificates
Experience with monitoring and supporting RESTful APIs
Experience with configuration management, CI/CD tools, GIT, Jenkins, Chef, ELK
Experience with automation tools such as Terraform and AWS CloudFormation
Experience with monitoring tools such as Graphite, Grafana, Prometheus, DataDog
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and recent, relevant work history
Experience maintaining and operating in large scale production systems and technologies
Working knowledge of cloud native architectures
Experience in automating repetitive tasks
Experience in DevOps and GitOps practices
Experience in troubleshooting/debugging skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Experience in managing third party service providers
Preferred
One or more AWS Certifications
EV industry experience with station integration or open protocols like OCPP, OCPI, or OpenADR
