Responsibilities
Lead and align a global group of Mechanical, Electrical Design, and Manufacturing Engineers.
Create and implement proper organization structure, engagement levels, and talent pipeline to deliver business goals.
Plot a technology path that interests and excites current and future technology talent.
Understand different customers and their motivations; define and articulate relevant targets, synthesize these factors and assist in rapidly building on the current 'go-to-market' strategy for driving the business forward.
Create a culture of action-orientation, customer focus, and innovation within the engineering team.
Serve as a true business partner with Executive and Operations Leadership.
Drive continuous improvement and seek ways to do things better, faster, and more efficiently.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field is required AND / OR sufficient career experience
15+ years Technical Leadership experience
Innovative thinker, with a track record for translating strategic thinking into action plans and output
Experience in building, mentoring, and coaching a team of engineering professionals
Superior management skills; ability to influence and engage direct and indirect reports and peers
Ability to quickly make decisions in a changing environment and anticipate future needs
Energetic, flexible, collaborative and proactive; a team leader who can positively and productively impact both strategic and tactical finance, and administration initiatives. Not afraid to have an opinion across business operations
Preferred
MBA preferred but not required
20% travel domestic and international
