Responsibilities

Developing and improving manufacturing processes.

Continuous improvement.

Researching manufacturing methods and providing new and innovative solutions.

Maintaining quality and safety standards at all times.

Evaluating manufacturing processes.

Developing manufacturing processes.

Improving manufacturing efficiency.

Assuring product and process quality.

Completing projects in a timely manner.

Training production personnel.

Planning processes by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).

Designing, sourcing, and deploying work-holding fixtures.

Programming mills, lathes, and other machinery as required.

Producing supporting documentation for production personnel.

Ability to work as a team

Ability to manage projects effectively

Ability to produce effective documentation: Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, CAD drawings, Other computer generated images, Process control plans, Work instructions, and Setup instructions

Knowledge of metalworking processes is essential

Ability to read and understand G code programs is a strong plus
