Responsibilities

Development of test software for communication with test equipment, test automation, data collection, and data processing.
Design User Interface, Instrumentation Controls libraries, test consoles and Interface Test Adapters (ITA)
Ability to use/interface with various laboratory equipment (e.g. power supplies, multimeters, and oscilloscopes)
Troubleshoot, debug, and diagnose issues with test equipment systems and determine root cause and corrective actions (RCCA)
Supply inputs to Test Equipment System Requirements (TE SRR), Test Equipment Design (TE PDR/CDR), and Test Equipment Validation Procedures/Reports
Perform and complete SDRLs and other documents regarding Test Plans/Procedures, Validation Plans/Procedures, and other related engineering deliverables.
Work with outside vendors and suppliers.

Required

B.S. in Software or Electrical Engineering or similar is required.
Experience in Test Equipment software design including test executives, test code, hardware drivers, and hardware abstraction.
Experience designing software for use with test equipment and automation of electrical hardware testing.
Must be a US Citizen
Software Languages: C#, LabView, MS SQL
Software Applications: MS Visual Studio, MS Visio, MS Office
Data/Communication Types: Analog I/O, Digital I/O, IEEE-488, I²C, SPI, USB, CAN, RS-485/422/232, Serial, TCP/IP, J-TAG

Preferred

Project planning, monitoring, and reporting
Experience testing power supplies, motor controller, and/or power distribution units.
Experience with testing electrical components
