Responsibilities

Work closely with senior engineers to design, develop, and execute software and firmware solutions for complex embedded systems.
Research, develop, test, and deploy embedded electronic and electromechanical systems for various applications including Electronic Warfare, command and control, communications, avionics, etc.
Provide technological solutions to sponsors in fields requiring advanced capabilities and national security missions.
Collaborate with a team to fulfill multiple missions and protect against adversarial threats.
Ensure software and firmware solutions meet the requirements and standards set by the division.

Required

Pursuing a Master’s degree or PhD at Georgia Tech in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
Must be enrolled full-time (12+ credit hours)
Must have a 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA
Commit to 15-20 hours of work per week
U.S. Citizenship
Ability to obtain and maintain an active security clearance

Preferred

Experience in 1 or more programming languages, preferably C/C++
Experience writing software for ARM-based processors or SoCs
Experience with software containerization
Task / team leadership experience
Strong math skills and ability to learn complex engineering concepts
Familiarity with Linux and open source tools
Configuration management and CI/CD tools
Ability to clearly communicate technical ideas
