Responsibilities
Develop and relentlessly enforce software QA processes that will ensure quality products
Develop and measure product quality metrics, and drive quality needs into the development process
Develop metrics to determine product release readiness
Develop automated testing strategies to reduce the need for manual testing in a cloud environment
Hire and expand the software QA team based on present and future needs with FTEs and contractors
Develop QA documentation for testing processes and knowledge sharing
Perform hands-on testing to ensure familiarity with the products
Provide technical direction and leadership to QA teams
Participate in product roadmap planning, estimation, and delivery
Actively manage and provide career growth opportunities to teammate
Promotes communication and cooperation among teammates to create a spirit of unity in the department.
Works closely with leadership and teammates to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to direct reports (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).

Required
5+ years of Healthcare industry experience required
5+ years of software QA experience required
3+ years of software QA management experience required
DICOM and HL7 familiarity required
AWS, GCP, or Azure product testing experience required
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and resource management skills
Confluence and JIRA experience is preferred
