Responsibilities

Exhibit depth of knowledge and familiarity with technologies to identify and deliver innovative technical solutions that meet business needs and scale with growth.

Guide juniors members to build sustainable architectures and establish guidelines for best-practices and instill a culture of quality and craftsmanship.

Dive deep and take ownership for critical designs, maintain and develop new applications using Java by utilizing AWS based services.

Work backwards from customer problems, figure out solutions, and implement them for speed and scalability.

Work closely with technical (engineering and business) teams in an agile environment to deliver the best technical designs and approaches.

Produce clear and comprehensive software documentation.

Evaluate and make decisions around the use of new or existing software products and tools.

Required

High School Diploma or equivalent required. College degree in related field preferred.

7+ years of professional experience in software development in Java 8+.

Experience with AWS technologies including DynamoDB, Redshift, Lambda, ECS, SQS, SNS, S3.

Strong skills in Spring Framework.

Experience leading design, build and deployment of complex and performant (reliable and scalable) software solutions in production.

Deep understanding of scalable computing systems, software architecture, data structures, and algorithms.

Proven track record of successfully design, build, deliver and troubleshooting complex service-oriented systems.

Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to clearly and concisely communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders across all levels of the organization.

Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.

Preferred

Experience with front-end development.

AWS Architect Certifications

Experience with NextJs/React/Svelte.
