Responsibilities
Help devise marketing strategy and write copy for various channels.
Manage social media, e-newsletters, and assist with advertising activities.
Create and maintain content on the UCR ARTS website, optimize pages for SEO, and manage user experience.
Collaborate with internal and external partners to promote programs and design promotional materials.
Manage SEO postings and accounts, distribution lists, and marketing toolkits.
Participate in outreach activities to promote UCR ARTS.

Required
Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training.
2 - 4 years of related experience.
Solid knowledge of marketing principles, concepts, strategies and best practices.
Solid knowledge of institutional products and services.
Knowledge of customer service standards/procedures.
Organizational skills and skills in file creation, maintenance and management.
Written and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong written communication skills that demonstrate creativity, correct grammar usage, syntax, and the ability to edit marketing copy for varying audiences. Ability to write effective advertising copy, electronic communications, and educational materials.
Skill and knowledge in managing social media and optimizing content for outstanding results.
Preferred
Knowledge of the campus and/or medical center including its achievements, mission, vision, goals, objectives and infrastructure.
Ability to implement marketing concepts and strategies in a museum/art institution environment.
Biliterate (English/Spanish)
Proficient knowledge and skill in working with Adobe Photoshop, WordPress and Illustrator, InDesign, or other graphics software.
Knowledge working in a museum environment
Skill working with MailChimp or similar email marketing platforms.
