Responsibilities
Inspect, assess, and test products for conformity assessment with international and national regulations to issue Certificates and/or Technical Reports for clients.
Prepare reports and documentation of customer products according to the appropriate standards.
Support sales and marketing activities with expertise including customer presentations.
Generate test procedures.
Correspond with customers and Product Safety Agencies regarding Product Design Approaches for Safety.
Stay updated on present and future Product Safety requirements, test procedures, and technology through training sessions, seminars, and technical articles.
Validate clients' requirements and conduct site inspections when necessary.
Provide assistance to customers and staff during safety test programs.
Participate in Continuous Improvement projects.
Work within the controls and constraints of an ISO 17025 Quality System.

Required
Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical degree required
1+ years of functional safety experience with Automotive, Rail, Stage, Machinery or similar electronic modules and/or systems engineering
Design/Development of safety-critical systems/components (ISO26262-X; ISO 61508-X, ISO 13849-1/2)
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Good communication skills and basic project management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with colleagues local and at remote sites
Comfortable with ambiguity
Strong technical leadership skills and ability to work in a highly collaborative environment Motivation, initiative, commitment, to self-improvement.
Willingness to consider others ideas and to work with others.
Flexibility and willingness to travel, where and when required.
