Responsibilities
Assist in the design, development, and execution of an organization-wide analytics program.
Focus on capturing, analyzing, and leveraging critical patient and financial data.
Ensure accurate data exchange between CHOC and community pediatricians and family practitioners.
Reduce duplication of services and support the data and knowledge needs of the program.
Collaborate with team members to design, develop, and test reports.

Required
Minimum five (5) years of related experience
Strong knowledge, understanding and experience related to database design, structure and maintenance
Extensive knowledge of electronic medical record technology
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively with other disciplines across the hospital
Ability to perform effectively in a complex changing environment
Ability to deliver projects on time and within budget
Preferred
Five (5) years of experience in the field of healthcare informatics and database management
Knowledge of McKesson's HBI product highly desired
Master's degree in related field
