Responsibilities

Champion User Experience Design and User Interface Design for designated projects, ensuring a seamless user journey
Advocate for User Experience/User Interface design, effectively communicating the vision to project teams
Lead stakeholder/user interviews to delve into business issues and requirements, facilitating whiteboarding sessions to stimulate creative brainstorming
Execute user interviews, craft personas, journey maps, site maps and information architecture diagrams to provide a comprehensive understanding of user behavior
Develop user flows, task analysis matrices, wireframes, high-resolution mockups, and prototypes to vividly illustrate product vision
Manage design feedback sessions and user testing to ensure the product meets user expectations and needs
Strictly adhere to Tax Design System standards, applying them appropriately to mockups for consistency and coherence
Collaborate closely with UI Developer to ensure the product build is accurate, user-friendly, accessible, and aligns with the initial vision
Seek to integrate AI into the UX/UI workflow

Required

Experience in User Experience Design and User Interface Design
Ability to translate business requirements into prototypes
Experience conducting UX activities to drive design decisions
Proficiency in creating mockups and prototypes
Knowledge of UI design best practices, interaction, and accessibility
Familiarity with Tax Design System standards
Strong communication skills and ability to advocate for the user within project teams

Preferred

Experience working with global accountants or financial services
Experience with AI integration in UX/UI workflow
Experience with stakeholder/user interviews and whiteboarding sessions
Experience in crafting personas, journey maps, site maps, and information architecture diagrams
Experience in user flows, task analysis matrices, and high-resolution mockups
Experience in managing design feedback sessions and user testing
