Responsibilities
Leading the safe operation and maintaining the physical structure and equipment of the building.
Performing preventative maintenance and emergency, corrective, and routine repairs on electrical, mechanical, fire and life safety, plumbing, and HVAC equipment.
Supervising all Tradesmen, and Facility Maintenance personnel including Technicians, Electricians, Painters, and Carpenters.
Service, diagnose, and troubleshoot all types of commercial HVAC equipment.
Conducting scheduled routine inspections and execution preventive maintenance programs.
Maintaining logs on stationary equipment to verify inspections are properly performed on all critical equipment and pressure vessels.
Utilizing a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to complete work orders in a timely manner.
Maintaining EPA Universal Certification and knowledge of all current legislation and requirements as they relate to EPA Regulations.
Performing maintenance of a variety of electrical systems such as transformers, switchboards, emergency generators, motor control centers, controllers, breakers, and circuits.
Performing new installation or failure replacement of Variable Frequency Drives (VFD).
Monitoring Building Automation Systems (BAS) for HVAC and Electrical equipment within the facility.
Evaluating, recommending, and implementing new HVAC and Electrical technologies and strategies.
Training and mentoring other colleagues.
Effectively communicating ideas and information to peers, management, and customers.
Working/communicating directly with on-site installation personnel to ensure adherence to standards and functionality.

Required
Experience in servicing, diagnosing, and troubleshooting commercial HVAC equipment
Ability to conduct scheduled routine inspections and execute preventive maintenance programs
Knowledge of maintaining logs on stationary equipment like boilers and chillers
Proficiency in utilizing a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) for work orders
Maintaining EPA Universal Certification and staying updated on EPA Regulations
Experience in maintaining various electrical systems and performing new installations or replacements
Monitoring Building Automation Systems (BAS) for HVAC and Electrical equipment
Ability to evaluate, recommend, and implement new HVAC and Electrical technologies
Experience in training and mentoring colleagues
Strong communication skills to interact with peers, management, and customers
Ability to work and communicate effectively with on-site installation personnel
