Responsibilities

Lead product to overall success according to clearly defined objectives and key results (OKRs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) as part of digital transformation, partnering with program execution and analytics teams to track initiatives and benefit realization
Observe, learn about, contact, and analyze end users of the product, agnostic of distribution channel or user persona; drive product capabilities to exceed best-in-class market leaders
Working with Domain Leader, own Squad vision and set priorities to deliver impact to the customer as quickly as possible through on-time delivery of quality releases to market
Balance cross-functional inputs to set direction for journeys
Ensure best-in class solutions, design thinking, and customer-centricity from conception to launch
Deep understanding of Property & Casualty insurance products
Able to independently evaluate and prioritize agent feedback
Successfully lead a cross-functional team to deliver high quality and on-time functionality each release
Work with agents to ensure full resolution to reported defects/issues
Liaise with Underwriting/Product, Operations, Sales and Claim domain leads to understand product features, objectives, performance on Marketplace
Track and measure product progress; define KPIs, processes, and metrics to track with process engineer, design engineer, and CX/Value chain analytics platform teams
Effectively partner with process engineers and analytics teams to design A/B testing for features
Integrate usability studies and research into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction
Define, refine, and prioritize user stories/epics/tasks daily including leading interactions with other units
Facilitate planning of Squad sprints to reaffirm priorities and agree on business requirements.
Create, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog
Specify acceptance criteria for each user story and write acceptance tests
Clearly communicate the requirements to the team
Facilitate release planning with stakeholders
Participate in sprint meeting
Build and maintain strong relationships with operational stakeholders as well as other product owners and domain leads
Coach development and design teams with detailed guidance during product development
Manage the defect management process, ensuring timely identification, tracking and resolution of defects
Track and analyze performance data, generate insights, and provide reporting to Senior leaders and Business Development Managers
Remove impediments (e.g., environment readiness, dependencies, test data, solution integration, coordination with other teams) and foster close cooperation and communication across all team members, to ensure the team is productive

Required

Bachelor’s degree required; specialization in computer science, technology, and/or UX preferred
10+ years of demonstrated experience in product development, technology and/or marketing/product operations
Must have prior experience as a Product Owner, BSA/BSL, Product, Program, and/or Project Manager delivering digital solutions
Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle required
Deep knowledge of and experience in Agile methodologies required
Experience with customer journeys and customer experience, especially with reference to insurance is necessary
Prior experience leading and managing cross-functional teams, building partnerships at all levels to achieve objectives, required
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels to define objectives, remove impediments, and provide updates, ensuring optimized product/project/program delivery
