Responsibilities
Evaluate, implement, and monitor process controls for extruded vinyl window frame and sash profiles.
Create, edit, and maintain product and process documentation.
Identify critical variables and establish controls for process repeatability and product quality.
Develop trouble-free processes to ensure consistent success.
Assist with equipment selection and implementation.
Manage projects for timely and budgeted implementation.
Monitor and improve safety, efficiency, and throughput of manufacturing processes.
Collaborate with specialists for quality control of raw materials.
Define, characterize, and lead the implementation of new processes.
Perform process capabilities studies and work on quality control improvements.
Ensure compliance with government laws and regulations.
Review and calculate production costs and requirements for decision-making.
Plan workflow, equipment placement, and space requirements for manufacturing efficiency.
Coordinate equipment maintenance and repair services.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
3-5 years’ experience in Process Engineering role(s)
Advanced Quality Planning (Statistical Process Controls, Failure Mode & Effects Analysis, Design of Experiments, Production Part Approval Process, and Verification & Validation) experience
Demonstrated Problem Solving and Analysis capabilities
Project Management experience
SolidWorks and AutoCAD proficiency
Preferred
Lean Six-Sigma Training
5-7 years’ experience in Process Engineering
Vinyl Extrusion or continuous manufacturing experience
