Responsibilities

Deploy and manage Cisco 8500 Catalyst switches, Cisco 9300 Access Switches, Cisco Firepower, Palo Alto Firewalls, Juniper SRX/EX, and Cisco Nexus (9K) switches in a datacenter environment.
Implement cloud connectivity solutions using AWS Direct Connect, Google Cloud Platform Cloud Interconnect, and OCI Fast Connect.
Deploy, manage, and support enterprise Infoblox DDI (DNS/DHCP/IPAM) solutions and AWS Route 53.
Manage hosted environments such as AWS, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Google Compute Engine, or Azure.
Understand and design data center architecture, including network, server, and storage virtualization (e.g., Cisco Nexus switching, VRF, VPN, and VMware vSphere).
Utilize and troubleshoot routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS) and network protocols (IPv4, IPv6, NAT, Multicast, Spanning Tree, flow export applications), NAT, DNS, geo-load balancing, VPN technologies (Anyconnect, IPSEC VPN), switching, security, QoS, Wi-Fi, and network management and monitoring software.
Collaborate with ISPs to resolve network latency and bandwidth issues.
Design, tune, and troubleshoot wireless networks, including Aruba wireless and NAC (Clearpass).
Prepare detailed network documentation, including logical network diagrams, test plans, configurations, and security standards using Visio.
Monitor and analyze network performance, providing support to troubleshoot issues related to various networking technologies, including Cisco routers, switches, Palo Alto firewalls, and wireless solutions.
Utilize network monitoring tools such as Logic Monitor or Nagios to perform assessments on existing technologies, determining performance and capacity gaps.
Design and document network architecture, performing assessments on existing technologies to determine performance and capacity gaps.
Travel as required for Data Center Build related activities, including decommissioning and migration of legacy services.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related STEM degree program
12+ years of experience in datacenter and corporate environments
12+ years of experience deploying Cisco, Palo Alto, and Juniper network solutions
12+ years of experience implementing cloud connectivity solutions
12+ years of experience managing enterprise Infoblox DDI solutions and AWS Route 53
12+ years of experience with hosted environments such as AWS, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Google Compute Engine, or Azure
12+ years of experience in data center architecture and network protocols
12+ years of experience working with ISPs for network latency and bandwidth issues
12+ years of experience in wireless network design, tuning, and troubleshooting (Aruba wireless, NAC [Clearpass])
12+ years of experience in network documentation (Visio)
12+ years of experience in network performance monitoring and troubleshooting (Logic Monitor, Nagios)
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
CCNP required (CCIE preferred or equivalent certification and/or experience)
Flexibility to travel to site as required

Preferred

Experience with network management and monitoring software
Experience performing assessments on existing technologies for performance and capacity gaps
