Responsibilities

Design and develop features to integrate with third party distributors, ensuring efficient and accurate data processing

Collaborate with Staff Engineers and Product Managers to prototype new ideas and implement innovative solutions

Evaluate the impact of requirement changes on designs and production code, and communicate these impacts to stakeholders

Acquire in-depth knowledge of integration endpoints and relevant services such as Catalog, Inventory, and Pricing systems

Participate in Agile methodology phases including planning, grooming, stand-ups, and retrospectives

Work collaboratively with other developers and teams to deliver customer-centric features

Required

2+ years of experience in building scalable backend services using modern programming languages (e.g, Java, Ruby on Rails, Python). Front-end experience is a plus, but not required

Proficiency in Service Oriented Architecture and building REST APIs

Strong understanding of the key components of scalable web services architecture

Experience with data modeling and working with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., Postgres, DynamoDB). Familiarity with building and deploying services on AWS

Experience with the full software development lifecycle, including design, testing, CI/CD systems, and addressing scale and performance issues
