Responsibilities
Use data and information innovatively to drive improved patient care, productivity, and operational efficiency, increased departmental agility, and higher performance.
Assist in establishing standards and guidelines for the design & development, tuning, deployment, and maintenance of information, advanced data analytics, and text mining models, and physical data persistence technologies.
Create/maintain the Development of Business Intelligence (BI) and data architecture to increase the robustness, performance, and scalability of systems.
Maintain data quality in the Development Data Mart and Development Enterprise Data Platform.
Ensure integrity of data in the Enterprise Data Platform, correcting any data problems, data consistency, establish and design procedures to purge/archive old data.
Guide data consistency between development's Source Systems, Application, Ancillary Systems, and Enterprise Data Warehouse.
Create/maintain the ETL architecture and design.
Create streamlined, scalable integration solutions to support BI and analytic environment.
Track progress and communicate effectively with key stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of the project within time, cost, and quality.
Interact with clinical/academic/research/business partners and 3rd party vendors to highlight the correct information, risks, and open issues and the impact on data architecture and analytic-related projects.
Research and design of algorithms to solve problems using medical and healthcare data.
Train/update/version/maintain production machine learning systems.
Extract and expose external public data sources to enhance medical machine-learning models.

Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Public Health, Business, Healthcare Administration or related field
Six years of related experience required, including extensive experience with SQL querying, relational and/or dimensional database development and ETL development
Experience with SQL Server, T-SQL/PLSQL, SSIS
Experience in data modeling, database development, and data warehousing
Experience with Azure Synapse pipelines, Azure Data Factory, and other cloud data technologies
Knowledge and experience of database management technologies and Data Governance
Strong Dimensional Modeling skills and Database Design
Robust Query Tuning & Troubleshooting Skills
Development of products using distributed computing & big data products
Organization, management, and standardization of enterprise data
Effective use of information that provides insight into better decision making
Building and developing pipelines to handle large volumes of heterogeneous medical data
Preferred
Experience with Azure Data Factory or Azure Synapse
MS degree in Computer Science or Computer Science/Information Systems
Working experience with Azure Synapse Analytics Data Platform
Working experience with Azure Data Lakes
Working experience with Azure Data Factory or Synapse Pipelines
Working Experience with ER Studio
Experience in high concurrency platforms, graph databases, and applied mathematics
Experience working with EPIC data and Clarity
Experience working with EPIC data and Clarity
Knowledge and experience of database management technologies
Knowledge and experience of Data Governance
