Responsibilities
Provide proactive safety guidance during projects and site visits.
Develop conceptual/final plans, estimates, and schedules for capital projects.
Direct and coordinate the engineering, procurement, and construction of assigned capital projects.
Prepare progress and cost reports, manage project processes, and communicate progress to stakeholders.
Manage outside engineering, fabrication, and construction contractors.
Meet end users' expectations with a focus on Best Value Design.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and provide training on capital project management and engineering design.
Deliver projects based on demonstrated results and effective project management.

Required
Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Mining Engineering preferred but will consider other disciplines with equivalent relevant experience.
At least 5 years’ experience in engineering/construction, preferably in the Aggregate Industry.
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience of crushed stone and sand/gravel processing plants, RMC plants, Asphalt Plants, crushing and sizing equipment, wet processing, water handling equipment, water recovery equipment, conveyor haulage systems, and dust control systems.
Proficiency with AutoCAD, AggFlow, and Microsoft Office software including Excel, Word, Power Point, and Project.
Excellent personnel skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of internal and external customers and contractors both verbally and in writing.
Highly motivated and able to work with a minimum of supervision in a multi-task, dynamic, team environment.
Preferred
Aggregates project engineering experience
Licensing: Professional Engineer (P.E.) with ability to acquire licenses in other provinces or states as required.
