Responsibilities

Create and maintain data pipelines connecting a variety of sources to BigQuery

Optimize data jobs for cost, scalability, and performance

Work with product analysts to transform their requirements into accurate data models

Collaborate with central platform team to anticipate data support for new features

Enhance monitoring on data quality and systems to ensure data trust

Handle live ops to ensure data reliability

Maintain health of Cloud Composer instances, adjusting configurations as needed

Provide code reviews and technical guidance to the team and analysts

Improve deployment testing practices to increase team efficiency and accuracy

Proactively suggest improvements to the data ecosystem based on experience and curiosity around data advancements
