Responsibilities
Collaborate with designers, stakeholders, and partners to develop design concepts, strategies, and solutions.
Advocate for users, including patients with diabetes and healthcare providers.
Present design proposals confidently, seeking to inform and influence the audience.
Learn from team members and mentor colleagues in design.
Socialize ideas with stakeholders to gain alignment and be a positive influence on the culture.
Manage & refine the UX design process from ideation to implementation.
Utilize user-centric design thinking to prioritize, define, and solve problems.
Design experiences that turn data into actionable insights.
Lead early-stage product definition activities, including brainstorming sessions and technical flows.
Plan and support research activities, collaborate with User Research and Human Factors teams.
Align the product with business goals, define unmet user needs, and synthesize user research.
Communicate design recommendations to executives and interdisciplinary project teams.
Design and own wireframes and flows, ensuring implementation across multiple platforms.
Present data in a user-friendly way, produce best-in-class product design, and contribute to Design System.
Be accountable for project results and design decisions.

Required
You have a portfolio of work demonstrating exceptional UX design skill and design process. Include your online portfolio link or PDF in your application, including any required passwords.
You have a bachelor’s Degree in the field of Human Computer Interaction (HCI), Interactive Design, Industrial Design, Cognitive Science, or another design-related field.
You have knowledge of Agile methodologies. Familiar with breaking down UX designs and requirements into Epics and Stories.
You have experience designing for mobile apps using Material Design or iOS HIG.
You have experience detailing the flows and information architecture of a product.
You have the ability to work in a highly collaborative, fluid, fast-paced environment.
You have the ability to manage schedules, prioritize tasks, and work within deadlines.
You have a proactive, accountable approach. Able to show ownership and lead product design.
You have expertise working in modern design and prototyping tools including Figma, Sketch, Abstract, Adobe Creative Suite.
You have prior experience as a Senior or Lead UX Designer on multiple products.
You have 6+ years industry work experience in a design and/or UX-related role.
Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8-12 years of related experience.
Preferred
You have experience with Design Systems, watches and wearables, and WCAG accessibility guidelines are a plus.
At this level a graduate degree may be desirable with 4 years of related experience.
