Responsibilities
Participating in technical implementation planning, ensuring the integrity of live operations is maintained
Supporting the handover of software into business-as-usual (BAU) operation, providing IT service teams with information and education
Coordinating and resolving the Problem Management of system problems
Comprehending the various phases of the software development lifecycle
Undertaking impact assessment of problem records against applications/products within the domain
Reviewing test strategies to guarantee the quality of the delivered software and assisting in the diagnosis of system problems encountered during testing
Collaborating with other software engineers across teams to build technical solutions
Delivering to all software engineering quality standards/benchmarks

Required
Experience with software engineering practices (E.g., unit testing, code reviews, design documentation)
Experience with UI development of mobile application (scalable for different screen resolutions and localization)
Being comfortable working with a cross-functional team of developers and quality engineers to develop innovative engineering solutions
Solid grasp of industry trends and champion modern tools, frameworks and practices
Preferred
Three to four years of experience in Java and Spring framework and experience and knowledge in developing mobile applications on iOS Platform and Android is preferred
Financial services industry knowledge is preferred
Experience with Cloud computing technologies is a huge plus
Experience with event driven architecture is a plus
