Responsibilities

Develop and optimize software solutions for advanced climate models.

Collaborate with climate scientists, researchers, and fellow engineers to enhance the accuracy, efficiency, and scalability of climate modeling software.

Required

Master or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Atmospheric Science, or a related field.

Proven experience in software development with a focus on climate modeling.

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Fortran.

Familiarity with parallel computing techniques and high-performance computing environments are required.

Strong understanding of climate science principles and modeling methodologies.

Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, and effective communication skills.

Preferred

The ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment are highly desirable.
