Responsibilities
Manages small projects, including renewal, major maintenance, enhancement, and related construction projects.
Monitors and controls project schedules and cash flow.
Manages consultants and contractors, and administers assigned contracts.
Researches topics, tracks work, writes memos, and prepares spreadsheets.
Assists in developing and negotiating interagency and partnership agreements.
Advises project managers on technical aspects of projects.
Supports the development and administration of project budgets.
Assists in communicating with project stakeholders and the general public.
Manages, develops, and implements process improvements for project management efficiency.
Ensures personnel are oriented in department procedures, safety practices, and systems operations.
Provides support to the Division on matters as directed.
Champions and models Sound Transit's core values and demonstrates values-based behaviors.
Contributes to a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Integrates sustainability into everyday business practices.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Project Management, Transportation, Public Administration, or closely related field
Four years of experience in providing project management support in public transit, planning, engineering, or construction fields
Experience in the management of scope, schedule, and budget of small to mid-size projects and project forecasting and budgetary planning
Valid state driver’s license
Preferred
