Responsibilities

Develop and maintain software that automates post-production workflows

Collaborate with the software team to identify areas where software tools can improve workflow efficiency and implement solutions

Participate in code reviews and contribute to team-wide best practices for software development

Create and maintain technical documentation for software tools and workflows

Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth integration of software solutions with existing workflows

Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continually improve software development practices

Required

Technical B.S. or equivalent professional experience

2+ years of experience in software development

Understanding of microservices architecture and design patterns

Strong knowledge of Python

Experience with containerization (Docker)

Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git)

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Passion for learning and continuous improvement

Preferred

Previous experience in a post-production facility

Familiarity with common post-production software APIs, such as Media Shuttle, Aspera/Faspex, ColorFront’s Transkoder, Davinci Resolve, FilmLight/BaseLight, and/or MediaPulse

Experience using Media Asset Management systems such as ShotGrid

JavaScript and Vue experience
