Responsibilities
Lead product design for one of the major areas of our Financial Management suite of products. Own the full design process, from partnering with product management and UX research on initial research and product definition, through concepting, crafting detailed designs, prototyping, testing, and working with engineering on implementation.
Involve in work on new as well as on established products and features, allowing to spend time thinking about the bigger picture across products while shipping concrete things to customers and end-users.
Partner with other designers to improve the quality of your designs and theirs, and continue your growth as a designer.
Be an ambassador for UX, a mentor for other designers, and champion for the design culture at Workday.
Help define Workday global design patterns and UX best practices.

Required
6 years of product design experience, preferably 2-3 years of enterprise product design
6+ years of experience working with product managers and engineering teams with initial product definition and ongoing product evolution and execution
2+ years of leading major product design initiatives with medium to high complexity
Portfolio showcasing your design experience that highlights a blend of web and mobile based work . (Please share password)
Ability to build alignment and articulate a product design vision through strong storytelling and presentations skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly explain your ideas and decisions in a way that anyone can understand
Ability to work with the larger product and engineering teams on influencing roadmap and supporting implementation
Extensive product sense and an understanding of how to ship a well-crafted product experience
Willingness to learn and passion for collaborating with an outstanding cross-disciplinary team including UX, engineers, and product managers
Knowledge in designing multiple form factors including web and mobile
Highly knowledgeable of the latest design tools (Figma) and the ability to learning new ones
Bring your whole self to work and find ways to have fun
BA/BS or MA/MS degree preferred in human-computer interaction, human factors, psychology or related field
Flex-Hybrid reporting structure requesting 50% in the Vancouver Workday office
