Responsibilities

Personal safety and for the of others as well as 5S
Set-up and program to print dimensions
Develop and edit CNC programs using G-code and other programming languages.
Must understand material hardness, cutting tools, speeds and feeds, coolant requirements and machining techniques.
Interpret geometric dimensioning and tolerances (GD&T) per part drawings.
Potential for field assignments using in-line machine. Some travel may be required.

Required

High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or in a similar role.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
Solid understanding of CNC programming and machining techniques.
Familiarity with a variety of CNC machines and controls.
Ability to use precision measuring instruments

Preferred

Mechanical related Associates degree or 5+ years of experience with machining and fabricating
Working knowledge of CAD/CAM (MasterCam) & SolidWorks’ modeling is preferred
Welding knowledge
Experience in the process control industry
Knowledge of analyzing, evaluating, diagnosing, and resolving equipment and process related problems
