Responsibilities
Assist with implementation of EIS operating system across 30 facilities to ensure common language, standard metrics, and a culture that incorporates Continuous Improvement into daily operations.
Champion Continuous Improvement culture leading by example.
Assist with best practice communication and standardization.
Train employees on Lean methodologies including Five S, Waste Identification, Problem Solving, and Kaizen Process Improvement events.
Conduct Kaizen events to model problem-solving methodology and achieve process improvement gains.
Conduct Kaizen event with emphasis on SMED methodology.
Assist facilities in implementing visual workplace including Five S and Metrics boards.
Collaborate with Engineering and site leadership to implement new technology to improve processes and reduce cost.
Assist Senior Director, Continuous Improvement with content creation, training, Kaizen events, and site visits.

Required
Expert in Lean/Continuous Improvement tools and deployment
Knowledge of advanced manufacturing techniques, esp. in machine shop environment and equipment optimization
Excellent interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills
Proficient in Excel, Word, and Power Point
Strong analytical skills including Five Why, Cause and Effect, PDCA and DMAIC
Demonstrated ability to drive results and work with the team to maintain the gain
Ability to manage multiple projects
Change management proficiency
Engaging and effective trainer
Bachelor’s degree in technical field, engineering preferred
Operations experience in machine shop environment
5 + years of Lean/Continuous Improvement experience
