Required
Bachelor's degree in public health, social science, or any related area and/or equivalent experience/training
5+ years experience in research implementation, public health, reproductive health, or related area
Experience in research design, implementation or management
Experience and advanced knowledge of research implementation
Budget management experience and skills
Experience gathering, synthesizing, and presenting evidence for various audiences, including non-academic audiences
Experience collaborating with and supporting social science and/or clinical research
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and influence, both verbally and in writing
Ability to use discretion and maintain all confidentiality
Advanced project management skills
Ability to multi-task with demanding timeframes
Advanced analytical / problem-solving skills
Advanced knowledge of common organizational- or research-specific and other computer application programs
Preferred
Masters degree in public health, social science, demography, and/or related area and/or equivalent experience/training
Grant proposal writing and fund development knowledge and skills
Experience with human subjects applications to Institutional Review Boards
Experience managing and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data
Experience writing research reports and journal articles
Experience working in sexual and reproductive health provision, policy or research
Experience overseeing day-to-day work of other staff and partners
